More generally, a visit to the Urban Nature Park is not like visiting a garden. It's a grouping of areas within the city, maintaining a close link between nature and urban landscapes.
It's what's known as Strasbourg's Green Belt: a whole area surrounding the city, made up of walking trails, parks and garden cities.

Where is Strasbourg's Urban Nature Park?
The Urban Nature Park is made up of two main areas in Strasbourg:
📍 The Parc Naturel Urbain Ill - Bruche, which covers 460 hectares with 7 trails marked out by the Club Vosgien.
This is the oldest and lies between the Elsau, Montagne Verte and Koenigshoffen districts. It is the greenest park.
📍 The Ill - Rhin Urban Nature Park, which is the most recent, and is located in the Wacken, Conseil des XV and Robertsau districts.
This one is more urbanised and less green than the first. It's a great way to discover the city's somewhat secret corners.
